Hama Bead heart bunting

hi! I'm theallcraftblog's little sister and recently i have been to her house. we got bored of watching films so we decided to do something creative. in the end we decided to make some hama bead stuff. we made loads of hearts and decided to make some cute little bunting out of them by sewing them together. We also made some coasters. they will probably come in a later post. Who knows?

Bespoke Anthropomorphic Dolls

My work is inspired by incidents I have experienced upon little journeys. People I have met/seen. I have a thing about Northern Lights, odd characters, and icebergs.

Meet 'Arnold' he likes shooting and has a very very large collection of guns. He loves them and can't get enough of them. He can bore you endlessly with his collection.

Patriotic Badge

So my mother in law is Portuguese and in my favorite magazine they had the cross stitch patterns of various country's and I knew I just had to stitch the Portuguese flag for my mother in law I used soluble canvas as I stitched it onto felt and for my first ever time finishing a project with soluble canvas I was very happy with the results.

And the back is just boring but here is a picture.

I totally recommend soluble canvas very easy to use no  mess no hassle just great original results !

Cute Anime clay minitures

My main medium for craft is air dry clay.

Most of the air dry clay crafters are masters of miniatures food, furnitures, etc. Therefore, I've decided to venture into something different. And due to my love for anime, they gave me an idea of creating characters I like into clay figures. I started to create a few just for fun but it soon turned into a very fun session for me to de-stress.

Repairing a beloved umbrella

I have had this umbrella since I was in school so I have had it a good few years and recently I found a hole in it and I thought I was going to have to get a new one but never fear  I found a way of restoring it to it's former glory !

All I needed was a needle & thread and some good old strong hold hairspray!

you can see the stitching in this image not as neat as i wanted but it was a very awkward position and hard to keep the material tight even when it's fully open!  But be sure to stitch while your umbrella is fully open so you know the stitches wont rip when you open your umbrella!

Make sure you spray all over your stitched with a strong hold hairspray to ensure a waterproof seal, do this on the inside of the umbrella as well, allow to dry and BAM!  you can go out into the great British weather and stay dry! Granted it's not very pretty stitching but nobody is going to see and as long as your dry who cares?

PS:  I didn't want to throw it away as I love all the colours and strips <3!!

Ed Sheeran heart

So I had my sisters over for the easter holidays and on one of the rainy miserable days we had, we got down to some crafting to make a change from watching the 5 million films we were watching, My one sister wanted a  One direction heart (which i don't have a photograph of) And my other sister (who wants a regular spot on my blog) wanted an Ed Sheeran heart as she loves him to bits so this is what I came up with !

The Front features his name  and the back features his tattoo which i believe is a logo he uses with his music and merchandise!   The paw print and ribbon re both orange in homage to his ginger hair I hope my sister is thrilled with this little hanging heart I made for her!

The one direction heart just features the 1D  logo on the front and nothing on the back, all in black felt and white stitching to go with the red white and black colour theme most of their merchandise has !

Barbie head pendants

These are some pendants I made using Barbie heads, 40x30mm bezel settings, ball chain, charms, beads, rhinestones, and other jewelry findings.  I'm not really sure what inspired me at first, I was just using an exacto knife on a Barbie one day(that sounds creepy) and decided to glue it in a bottle cap, which started my new obsession with making these pendants. I just recently opened a little online shop after getting a good response from people on the internet of my pieces.

You can find her store here.       And check out her blog here

Corned Beef Hash

Ingredients

7 oz (200 g) tinned corned beef
2 large, very fresh eggs
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 rounded teaspoon grain mustard
1 large onion
10 oz (275 g)  King Edward potatoes or whatever ones you have
2-3 tablespoons of oil
salt and freshly milled black peppers

Method

1. Start this off by cutting the corned beef in  into four ½ inch  pieces. Now chop these into ½ inch (1 cm) dice, then scoop them all up into a bowl. Combine the Worcestershire sauce and mustard in a cup and pour this all over the beef, mixing it around to distribute it evenly.

2.Now slice your onion. The potatoes need to be washed and cut into ½ inch  cubes, leaving the skin on, then place the cubes in a saucepan. Pour enough boiling water from the kettle to almost cover them, let them  simmer for just 5 minutes before draining them.

3. Now heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in the frying pan and, when it's smoking hot, add the sliced onions fry them around in the oil to brown for about 3 minutes altogether.

4.After that, add the potatoes and fry with the onions,  they also need to be quite brown. Add a little more oil here if necessary, keep turning the potatoes and onions over to hit the heat. After about 6 minutes, add the beef and continue to fry everything  to allow the beef to heat through (about 3 minutes).

5.Fry your eggs and serve!  (:
