Christmas Crochet

Another Christmas post as I am finding so many cute & wonderful Christmas craft items can you think of anything more darling to give to someone as a Terry's chocolate orange wrapped in a crochet snowman ? The cute is off the scale with this one.

Yarn Bombing

Yarn bombing/urban knitting/yarn storming, is fairly new popular trend that I am seeing more and more of although I must admit I have not come across any myself (but i would love to!) but my twitter and tumblr feed has been full of pictures of yarn bombing from all over the world, such a beautiful way to brighten up a dull high street I just wish someone would yarn bomb my town center!!!

Colourful Crochet center piece

Yet again my mother in law comes up trumps with her beautiful crochet work !  I can't wait till I am this good at crochet! my home is filled with her makes from pen holders to table place mats &I now have this colourful center piece can't wait for more =D

Remembrance day Poppies

Crochet table topper

Yet again my Mother in law sends beautiful work to make my home look beautiful and unique!  I wish i could make things like this.

Crochet pot

My mother in law made me this, i love it, it holds all my pens, i just love all the detail in the stitches, I have a bag full of all the other stuff she crochets I just wish i could crochet this well, (you can see my efforts in the first crochet post) I also have dinner place mats and a center piece made by her, her work is really beautiful I will post them later on !!! Also she recycled household items to make this too, (plastic bottle & some cardboard)
