So my mother in law is Portuguese and in my favorite magazine they had the cross stitch patterns of various country’s and I knew I just had to stitch the Portuguese flag for my mother in law I used soluble canvas as I stitched it onto felt and for my first ever time finishing a project with soluble canvas I was very happy with the results.
And the back is just boring but here is a picture.
I totally recommend soluble canvas very easy to use no mess no hassle just great original results !
So for those of you who don’t know Rainbow Dash is from the TV series My Little Pony – Friendship is magic and there is a HUGE internet fandom surrounding the show my cousin is some of the fans and i suggested that i could cross stitch him a Dashy so he drew it for me and then i got it all stitched up! I hope you all like her (: I will be stitching the other 5 pony’s so keep your eyes peeled!
I got this in my favorite cross stitch mag last August as a free gift! and I have only picked it up to do it in the last month and this is the finished result!!! I really enjoyed stitching this despite all of the half stitches, beautiful colours and a pleasure to stitch this will be one of many handmade Christmas gifts for my family this year (:
This was also in the same issue of myCross Stitcher mag as you had two free gifts to choose from I chose the home sweet home one but went out last week to get the threads to stitch this lovely tattoo style swallow and he only took 2 days to stitch, this is also a Christmas gift all i need to do is buy the frames (:
I got this as a free gift in my favorite Cross Stitch Magazine (Cross Stitcher) & I just had to stitch him, ( I don’t know what it is with me and owls lately!!!) took me approximately 4-5 hours with all the messing about i did in between but the end result is perfect he will go to a good home and brighten someones day up!
Made these cards when we were having technical difficulties but as we are back online I can show you all what I have been up to, made these cards lovely as a keepsake for the close family members and friends.
his beautiful completed cross stitch door hanger/ornament features a witch on her broomstick along with her cat. It is bordered by a green vine with orange flowers and has jack-o-lanterns in each corner..
I stitched this on 14 count beige Aida with DMC floss. The door hanger is backed with a homespun green and beige checked fabric.
I have been cross stitching for a good 6 years and taught myself from a kit my Nan bought me and I fell in love with this craft instantly! I cross stitch all of my gift tags a few cards and I am currently stitching a big project and i will upload it when it’s done! I love getting little hand made gifts and I love making them!
